I - Characteristics of Vietnamese dog breeds
1 - Obedient and close
If they are raised when being newborns, Vietnamese dogs are very obedient. They feel afraid of being scolded by their owners when they do something wrong. When playing with their boss, they are specifically cheerful and playful, the dogs are not disruptive, prefer to tear up solid things like exotic dogs. Despite being kept all day in a kennel, these domestic dogs do not bark, they lie obediently and know when they will be released to play.
2 - Smart
Vietnamese dog breeds have the same intelligence and ability to learn as quickly as dogs originated from other countries. They obey when the owner gives a voice command, stop barking when the owner asks, know how to return the goods to the owner, even know how to sell goods with their owners.
If trained properly, domestic dogs complete training and memorize quickly.
3 - Loyal
Whether the Vietnamese dogs are lost, abandoned or sold, they are determined to find their owners, no matter how far it is. They can wait day by day for the owner to come back but refuse to leave.
4 - Sentimental of the Vietnamese dog breeds
Domestic dogs are especially affectionate, they always entwine with their owners, jump up and down for joy when their owners return home after a long trip. They can play all day with the owner without boredom.
A special feature about the Vietnamese dogs is that, before death, they will leave for a few days to dig a burrow, then return. After digging the burrow, they return to say goodbye just one last time and then leave forever without returning. They do this because they do not want to die at home, which will upset their owners and the burrow they dig is the place where they will rest in peace.
II - Longevity and reproduction of Vietnamese dog breeds
The average lifespan of Vietnamese dogs is 7 to 10 years. In good raising and care conditions, they can live from 12 to 15 years,
Dogs are often bred naturally without the interference of humans. In addition, they were also bred with a number of dog breeds with beautiful appearance and larger size to give birth to beautiful, intelligent, and colored puppies.
A Vietnamese dog can give birth to about 3-7 puppies depending on the breed of dog. Many can give birth to 7 to 12 babies. However, having a lot of babies can make both the mother dog and the puppies unhealthy. Having many children will be more difficult to raise than having only 3-5 children.
